uaa-english-internship-information-flyerHave you heard about the English Internship program? Is the internship option news to you? Want to learn more? Please join Dr. Heather Adams (faculty member and English Department Internship Program coordinator), Ami Reece (graduate student intern and internship specialist) and several former interns for an informational session on Wednesday, Oct. 26, at 8:30 p.m. in Administrative/Humanities Building, Room 102. The session is open to all students (English majors, English minors, other students potentially eligible/interested in taking a 400-level or 600-level English course). Find out about this unique opportunity for hands-on, experiential learning through one of our two internship courses: ENGL A495 or ENGL A695. We'll talk about course format, expectations and qualifications before hearing some stories "from the field." Get a preview of upcoming placement opportunities and hear options for finding your own, customized placement. No RSVP is required. Email hbadams@alaska.edu with questions about this event.
