by Michelle Saport  |

The University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) is searching for an Interim Vice Provost for Student Success (IVPSS) to lead the strategic direction for student success efforts at the University of Alaska Anchorage tied to the UAA 2020 initiative. While working closely with university leadership, faculty and staff, across UAA's campuses, the IVPSS will work closely with a Student Success Advisory Committee to design and implement an aggressive university-wide strategy that will improve student success by advancing a culture of institutional excellence. The position will report to the Provost.

The Provost is seeking to fill this position with a talented current employee. This will be a full-time, term appointment. The classification of the assignment (whether administrative faculty or staff) will be determined by the employee type of the successful candidate. If the successful candidate is an employee (either faculty or staff) with a continuing assignment, that person will be afforded fallback rights.

Evaluation of applications and nominations will begin immediately. For fullest consideration, please complete the electronic application in PageUp that includes a letter of interest, resume and/or curriculum vitae, and the names and contact information for four professional references by Friday, Sept. 15.
