UAA Student Showcase accepting submissions through Feb. 11, 2018

We are pleased to announce that applications for the 2018 UAA Student Showcase are being accepted now through Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018 at midnight.

This year marks 34 years of our university highlighting the extraordinary work of students throughout the University of Alaska Anchorage system through the Student Showcase. Beyond highlighting student work, the Showcase also creates an opportunity for dialogue among university and community members. All applications received by the deadline undergo an anonymous review, and students receiving the top scores are invited to present their works publicly in the Student Showcase Conference in April 2018. Distinguished community members are invited to the conference as well to evaluate, critique and comment on students' work.

Save the date: The 2018 Student Showcase Conference will be Thursday, April 5, 7:15-9:30 p.m. and Friday, April 6, 10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. It is free and open to the public.

Students in the University of Alaska Anchorage system are invited to submit outstanding, original works created for a UAA course or program in spring, summer or fall of 2017. Students may submit papers or projects in any field of study. Submissions of group works are accepted. Only one application may be submitted per student.
