This week, the UAA Department of Biological Sciences will host three free, public seminars on research and current trends in the field:

"Acquisition and Dissemination of Antimicrobial Resistant Bacteria in Gull and Bald Eagles Inferred Using Whole Genome Sequencing" Presented by Christina Ahlstrom, United States Geological Survey Friday, March 2, 1-2 p.m. ConocoPhillips Integrated Science Building, Room 105A

"The Importance of Stream Temperature: Modeling Techniques and Landscape-scale Applications to Freshwater Resource Management" Presented by Dr. Leslie Jones, Program Aquatic Ecologist, Alaska Center for Conservation Science Friday, March 2, 3:30-4:30 p.m. ConocoPhillips Integrated Science Building, Room 120
