Racial Equity and Social Justice at UAA A UAA Community Conversation Elizabeth Peratrovich Day - Friday, Feb. 16 8:30-11:30 a.m. University of Alaska Anchorage

Building upon UAA's Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan and our commitment to equity and social justice, we invite UAA students, staff, faculty and administration to engage in a half-day dialogue. Together, we will discuss ways we can ensure UAA is a racially equitable, safe and inclusive space for all students and is reflective of the great diversity within our state and student population.

This event, held in partnership with the First Alaskans Institute Advancing Native Dialogues on Racial Equity (ANDORE) project, will utilize indigenous values and knowledge as the foundation for hosting meaningful conversations about racism, equity and social justice with the purpose of elevating community-driven solutions and action plans for UAA.

Please note, the location will be sent to registered participants via email the week of the event. For more information, please contact Angela Gonzalez at angelagonzalez@firstalaskans.org or (907) 677-1700. To register, please fill out this brief survey.
