April 17, 2018: Green Fee Board hosts free screening of documentary 'Between Earth and Sky'

Green Fee Board is proud to present a free screening of the documentary Between Earth and Sky on Tuesday, April 17, at 2 p.m. in the Student Union Den. Event is free and open to all.

Between Earth and Sky depicts the hardships of the Shishmaref people of Alaska as they come face to face with a receding coastline and a $200 million price tag for relocation. Speckled with interviews from some of the world's leading experts in climate change and arctic soils, the film provides an in-depth analysis of the increasing deterioration of the interior permafrost in the Arctic and Subarctic. Discussion about climate change in Alaska to follow.
