April 26, 2018: UAA vs. Cornell Debate on free speech and the future of American democracy

Does the future of American democracy depend on restricting free speech? That's the controversial question UAA's Seawolf Debate program will argue when it goes head to head with Cornell University's debate team on April 26.
Join the award-winning Seawolf Debate program for an evening of intense exchange, insightful analysis and enlightening argument. Guest judges will weigh in, but the audience will vote on the final winner.
The debate will take place on Thursday, April 26, at 7 p.m. in the Recital Hall on the first floor of the UAA Fine Arts Building. Parking is available in the ground lot and in the garage behind the building.
