Using a hand-held MinION sequencing device, researchers (including students) have begun to perform deep sequencing in laboratories at the University of Alaska and other institutions. Nanopore Seminars will feature scientific research talks, introduction to the technology, poster presentations, a MinION sequencing demonstration, and bioinformatics skills breakout session. Students are welcome to attend! Learn more and view the schedule at the Nanopore Day web page.
