First-Generation College Celebration Monday, Feb. 18, 9-10 a.m. Student Union, Cafeteria
Join UAA in celebrating first-generation college students, alumni and professionals! UAA's TRIO programs offer this opportunity to gather and celebrate first-generation college students and professionals at UAA and to promote awareness of the first-generation community that exists within our campus. This second annual celebration will feature a panel of UAA students, faculty, staff, and administrators who will share about their experiences as first-generation college students and dialogue with the audience around first-gen student success. If you are the first in your family to attend college, or are a UAA employee who is a first-generation college graduate, we hope to see you there!
All students, staff, and faculty are welcome. Refreshments will be served.
