UA Strong: Issue 11 - May 21, 2019

Rally with us!

Show your support by joining us Thursday, May 23 at one of the UA Strong community rallies in Juneau, Fairbanks and Anchorage. All are welcome. Whether you're a current or future student, an alum, university donor, parent, business owner or community member, the university needs your show of support. Let's stand up for what UA Strong really means to us.

Rallies begin at 4:30 p.m. and UA Strong signs will be available at each location.

  • Anchorage: 4:30-6 p.m. at 9th Ave. and L St. (on the Park Strip)
  • Fairbanks: 4:30-5:30 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park
  • Juneau: 4:30-5:30 p.m. at Egan Drive and the Juneau-Douglas Bridge

See you there! As inspiration, these business leaders tell us about how the university creates a strong Alaska. Watch and be inspired!

  • Juneau's Joe Nelson believes businesses want home-grown and Alaska-educated talent.
  • Fairbanks' Marisa Sharrah says her community's economic future is closely tied to UA.
  • Anchorage's Anand Vadapalli is passionate about investing in the university today, to create a stronger economic future for our state.
