The Hugh McPeck Gallery presents Britt'Nee Brower's show, Simple Modern Traditional. Britt'Nee is an Inupiaq artist whose show brings awareness to the Inupiat and indigenous cultures of Alaska. Sculpture, paintings, and drawings will be showcased.
Britt'Nee's work can be seen in the Inupiat coloring book Names of Mammals by the Arctic Slope Regional Corporation. She also had pieces accepted in the Hugh McPeck Gallery's signature spring show, the Juried Student Art Show in 2018 and 2019. Britt'Nee is an art student at UAA, pursuing a fine arts degree, and will be graduating in 2021.
