Center for Economic Development recruiting student interns

by Michelle Saport  |

The University of Alaska Center for Economic Development is recruiting seven student interns for its Upstart Intern Program. Opportunities are available under two tracks: startups and energy-related research programs.

The program is a semester-long internship for 10 to 20 hours per week. The opportunity includes professional development workshops to broaden participants' understanding of entrepreneurship in Alaska, learn startup tools, and develop soft skills. Students will have the opportunity to make peer connections through a cohort experience and engage in the entrepreneurial and/or energy ecosystems.

Interns must be a currently enrolled UAA student and will make $18 an hour.
