National Fire Prevention Week runs Oct. 6–12, 2019

National Fire Prevention Week is Oct. 6-12, and this year's theme is "Not every hero wears a cape; plan and practice your escape." Each October, UAA's Office of On-Campus Living conducts evacuation drills in the apartments and residence halls to educate about speedy evacuation using the nearest exit.
