Alternate Course Delivery begins March 23

by Cathy Sandeen, UAA Chancellor  |

Dear UAA Community,

These are truly unprecedented times. In an effort to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, UAA will transition courses to alternate delivery methods beginning Monday, March 23. This means nearly every professor and student across the state will be leveraging online learning tools. Staff will be working remotely as well. I ask for your patience as there will likely be some glitches along the way. Special thanks to our faculty, faculty support staff and IT Services staff for their hard work to make this transition possible.

We will also have resources available to help with the transition, including online information sessions for students. The schedule for these sessions will be posted to the student success website soon and will also be noted on social media. Thank you for your patience, and please continue to check the University of Alaska coronavirus information website for FAQs that are being updated frequently.

Stay calm, and study on!

Sincerely,
Cathy Sandeen
UAA Chancellor
