Call for volunteers to create face masks

The UAA Office of Emergency Management would like to thank the many people who volunteered to make cloth face masks for our essential employees and resident students still on campus to pick up from the Student Health and Counseling Center. Inventory is now very low and, over the coming weeks, it is anticipated that the need will remain as some people and projects are approved for work on campus.

If you are able to make masks with elastic ear loops, we would be happy to take them and put them to use! You can contact emergencymanager@alaska.edu for details.
