Human Services Summer Institute and Conference

The UAA Department of Human Services is offering an array of upper-level course electives over mental health and substance abuse including a Human Trafficking course and virtual conference this summer. The Human Trafficking elective is a hybrid course and conference available to both students and community members and can be taken as a full UAA summer course or through the conference-only option.

  • UAA Full Summer Course Option: Students and community members can take the HUMS A490 - HUMS Special Topics on Human Trafficking summer course for elective credits, which includes a 10-week Blackboard course and a 2-day virtual conference. Register here for continuing education courses offered at UAA.
  • Conference-Only Option: Community members can register for the 2-day conference through the links provided and receive up to 9 CEU contact hours provided through the School of Social Work UAA. Register here for the 2-day virtual conference only option.
