How do you contribute to student success?
My position works to support students by raising money for a variety of needs ranging from students scholarships to the student support fund.

How long have you worked at UAA? Why did you decide to join UAA?
I joined UAA in April 2020. I relocated to Anchorage from Southeast Alaska where I was living off-grid and remote. I wanted to be part of a team focused on encouraging donors to make transformational gifts, while still being able to explore the beauty of Alaska.

What is the most common question you receive at work?
"What has it been like starting a new job working remotely?"

What do you enjoy most about working at UAA?
I love UAA's focus on "growing its own." Everyone is committed to the mission of educating students for Alaska's workforce.

What do you consider your greatest accomplishment while working here at UAA?
I have only been at UAA for two months. My greatest accomplishments so far are: 1. Learning how to conduct donor meetings using Zoom; and 2. Riding around the campus on my bike to get to know the layout.

What is your favorite Alaska activity?
Hiking, biking and fishing... anything outdoors!

Tell us a fun fact about yourself.
In Southeast Alaska, I am known as the "Donut Queen" for my ability to bake home-made gourmet donuts!
