Raymond Weber appointed interim dean of UAA Community & Technical College

Following an internal search process, Dr. Raymond Weber, Aviation Technology faculty member, has agreed to step into the role of interim dean for UAA Community & Technical College (CTC). Ray will serve for two years and we will conduct a national search for the permanent dean in academic year 2021-2022.

Ray has served the Aviation Technology Division for six years. During that time, he has worked with numerous faculty throughout CTC, and has served extensively on the college's curriculum committee, including serving as chair last year. Recently, Ray has acted as the academic chair of flight operations. He previously held faculty positions at Kent State University and North Dakota State University.
