College During COVID: How is UAA collecting information about the presence of COVID-19 on campus?

by Green & Gold News  |

Today's College During COVID question is: How is UAA collecting information about the presence of COVID-19 on campus?

UAA has a plan for reporting and tracking COVID-19 cases on campus. Please consult the UAA COVID-19 Tracking and Reporting Procedure to learn more about policies and processes related to the reporting and identification of COVID-19 on the UAA campus.

In brief, if you have been in UAA facilities within 48 hours of a COVID-positive test, displaying COVID symptoms or are part of an investigation being conducted by public health personnel, please call 907-205-6941 and email the Environmental Health & Safety Department to start the process. Case management will be supported by environmental health as well as public health contact tracers.
