September is Safety Awareness Month at UAA. #SAFEtemberThis September, we will be celebrating Safety Awareness Month at UAA! Below are campus and community resources to be familiar with. Follow the Student Health and Counseling Center on Facebook for more tips and information on a variety of safety related topics this month.

Numbers to know:

  • Always call 911 for emergencies on and off campus.
  • Enter the University Policy phone number in your contacts: (907) 786-1120.
  • Call 3-1-1 for non-emergency police calls in Anchorage.
  • Call Alaska 2-1-1 for a one-stop resource on where to find help including COVID19 information.

Stay alert:

  • Download the UAA Safe App on Google Play or the App Store for safety resources and alerts.
  • Sign up for UA Alert for closure and emergency notices. You can sign up and make sure your contact info is current in UAOnline.

COVID-19:

  • Always get the latest about UA's response to COVID-19 at this website.
  • The CDC Guidelines has the most up-to-date information to prevent getting sick.
  • The Student Health and Counseling Center is open and here for your physical and mental health needs — including COVID-19 testing. Call (907) 786-4040 to make an appointment. In-person and Telehealth appointments are available!
