Job opening: Employer Relations Coordinator

The University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) invites applications for the position of Employer Relations Coordinator. Career Services seeks an organized and driven customer service professional to provide career development expertise and increase access to career development opportunities for UAA students and alumni. This position will provide leadership in cultivating relationships with employers and alumni, engaging them with students and the career development process, and connecting them with opportunities to network with, recruit and hire UAA talent.

The primary focus of this position is to build and maintain professional relationships with community employers and alumni partners in order to curate job and internship opportunities, develop and coordinate career programming and events, and connect UAA students & alumni with employers. The position will serve as a relationship manager to key employer partners, with emphasis on Alaskan employers, ensuring smooth logistics and high customer service. The ideal candidate is passionate about customer service and creating connections between students and employer partners.
