USUAA Give Thanks 2020

USUAA is proud to announce Give Thanks 2020, focused on providing Thanksgiving food options to UAA students and Anchorage community members in need.
Due to COVID-19, USUAA will not host its annual Thanksgiving Feast, which provides a full Thanksgiving meal free to UAA students and the Anchorage community. This Thanksgiving, USUAA has worked to support those in need by making available a limited number of $30 Fred Meyer gift cards to current UAA students and donating $1,000 to the Food Bank of Alaska.
Unfortunately, we have run out of our limited supply of gift cards. If you are in need of support or resources, please take a look at the Food Bank of Alaska or UAA students can contact the UAA Emergency Food Cache at 907-786-4040 to set a time to pick up a bag of food.
While this is not the Thanksgiving Feast we had in mind, USUAA emphasizes safety during this time for all UAA students and the Anchorage community.
If you are interested in donating to support UAA students in need, please consider giving to the UAA Student Emergency Fund. The Food Bank of Alaska has many different ways to support the food needs of the Anchorage community.
