COVID-19 Research at UAA: Health communication and the big picture

Join ISER on Thursday, Feb. 25, from noon to 1 p.m. for the second virtual brown bag session in a two-part series on COVID-19 research done by UAA faculty. During this session, UAA faculty will discuss ongoing projects investigating and evaluating COVID-19 related interventions in Alaska and the circumpolar north. Learn what researchers have found on how contact tracing has impacted COVID-19 transmission, strategies for reaching out to vulnerable Alaskans, and plans to hear community voices on the impacts of COVID-19 in the Arctic.

The session will include researchers from ISER, College of Business and Public Policy, College of Arts and Sciences, College of Health, UAF College of Rural and Community Development, Institute for Circumpolar Health and the National Center for Infectious Diseases.
