Liz Ortiz, M.A. candidate in the UAA Department of Anthropolgy, will defend her thesis, "A Zooarchaeological Analysis of a Thule-Period Small Site at Uivvaq, in Northwest Alaska," on Friday, June 18, beginning at 10:30 a.m.
