On behalf of the entire residential community, Residence Life staff would like to thank our campus partners for past support and for ensuring successful Fall Move-Ins in our residential community. We are gearing up for another year and are happy to arrange for promotional materials to be passed along to residents on your behalf. With your help, we can ensure a smooth process for getting the word out about UAA campus programs and services.
This fall, we anticipate 425 new and returning residents to move-in, and are accepting
items in bulk to ensure expedient placement. Each resident will receive a heavy-duty,
environmentally friendly grocery bag filled with contributions at time of check-in.
Sometimes outreach calls for paper fliers, but we also encourage our campus partners to think about sustainable ways to connect with residents! We are happy to help promote your organization or upcoming event through our Facebook and Instagram accounts — visit our Fall 2021 Collaboration and Outreach form for more information.
- Start — Thursday, Aug. 5. The Department of Residence will begin accepting pamphlets/promotional items/other items for placement in resident room.
- End — Monday, Aug. 16, 4 p.m.: Deadline — please note, the Department of Residence Life will NOT be able to receive or process any items for residents after this date.
- Please intercampus mail items to MAC 6-103, attention Kerry Davis.
- If you would like to hand-deliver items, please deliver to the Gorsuch Commons help desk, located inside the Gorsuch Commons, at 3700 Sharon Gagnon Lane.
The help desk is generally open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.–7 p.m.; Saturdays, 10 a.m.–4 p.m.; and closed on Sundays. There are two 15-minute parking spaces conveniently located adjacent to the Commons building.
