Call for 2022-23 faculty governance nominations

Faculty governance vacancies are listed below. To make a nomination, submit the name of the nominee, their unit and the office desired by email to uaa_governance@alaska.edu by Wednesday, Feb. 23.

Please review the below list of vacancies. As stated in the Faculty Senate bylaws, each college/community campus gets one senator for every fifteen faculty.

If you currently serve on a committee, please review when your term is ending. If you see any vacancies that are not listed (for elected positions only), please contact the Governance Office.

Before sending a nomination, please ask permission of the nominee. Faculty members on leave or on sabbatical are not eligible to serve. You may also nominate yourself. Please refer to the membership criteria within the Faculty Senate Constitution (Art. 3, Sec. 1).
