Summer 2022 dates and deadlines

Welcome to summer semester, Seawolves! Classes for the 10-week and first five-week session are now in session. Please note these upcoming dates and deadlines for both sessions, unless otherwise noted:

  • May 16 - Instruction begins
  • May 17 - Faculty approval needed to add classes 
  • May 23 - Add/drop period ends
  • May 23 - Deadline to drop for 100% refund
  • May 23 - Credit-to-audit deadline 
  • May 30 - Holiday - UAA closed, no class day
  • June 3 - Withdrawal deadline for first five-week session
  • June 20 - Instruction ends for first five-week session
  • June 23 - Instruction begins for second five-week session
  • June 24 - Grades available for first five-week session
  • July 4-5 - Holiday - UAA closed, no class day
  • July 8 - Withdrawal deadline for 10-week session
  • July 11, 5 p.m. - Payment deadline, $125 late fee assessed 
  • July 22, 5 p.m. - $175 late payment fee assessed to those with outstanding balance 
  • July 22 - Summer graduation application deadline
  • July 30 - Instruction ends for 10-week session
  • Aug. 4 - Grades available for 10-week session
