Alcohol, Drug and Wellness Educator open forum

Please join us for an open forum with our Alcohol, Drug, and Wellness Educator (ADWE) finalist. The ADWE coordinates UAA’s alcohol and drug education efforts, National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week, disciplinary sanctions related to substance use, and other substance use programming and training. In addition, the ADWE will coordinate wellness education events including Safety Awareness Month and public service announcements related to basic wellness topics. The ADWE also serves as a key member of UAA’s Health Promotion team.

The finalist was asked to prepare a 10-15 minute presentation on the following topic to start the open forum: "The health topic of the month is Healthy Social Relationships. As the ADW educator, share with us some tools and techniques you would use to highlight this topic across the UAA student community."
