Student Health and Counseling Center director stepping down

UAA Student Health and Counseling Center Director, Mary Woodring has announced that she will be leaving UAA in July. Mary has been leading the SHCC for the past three years and been working at UAA for over 14 years. Under Mary's leadership, the SHCC has worked to improve services to students, supported the university through the Covid-19 pandemic, increased access to both physical and mental health services, and engaged students across campus through its Health Promotion Team. The Division of Student Affairs is saddened to see Mary leave, but we wish her well in her next endeavor. Please join us in our appreciation of Mary's fine work and her dedication to student health on our campus. A search is currently underway for UAA's next SHCC Director.
