September is National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month

The UAA community recognized someone who has supported them—peers, coworkers, friends, and family. You are not alone! SHCC is tabling throughout campus this week, stop by to make your own. Flags will be on display through the end of September.

Gatekeeper Training | Sept. 23 1 to 2:30 pm in RH 206
Learn the warning signs and how to talk to someone at risk for suicide. This event is open to all staff and students, no registration necessary.

What can you do if you think someone may be considering suicide?
Ask them.
Keep them safe.
Be there.
Help them connect.
Follow up.
