National Health Education Week: Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Awareness

Join our student organized National Health Education Week (NHEW) campaign to improve awareness about breast and cervical cancer screenings at UAA! The National Cancer Institute reports that Covid-19 has significantly reduced the number of cancer screenings performed. In 2020, the United States alone, missed out on an estimated 9.4 million screening exams.
