ISER is Seeking Research Professionals

The Institute of Social and Economic Research (ISER) at the University of Alaska Anchorage is seeking applicants for a part or full-time research professional (level to be determined by project needs and applicant qualifications), to work on grant-funded socio-economic research projects, such as:

  • Investigating the impact of contaminants on residents in Unalaska
  • Policies that would facilitate the widespread equitable use of electric vehicles in rural Alaska
  • Effective use of fuel treatments for wildfire mitigation
  • Assessing wildfire hazards and risks
  • Remote/rural Alaska pharmaceutical supply chain mapping
  • Impacts of aviation infrastructure investments on food security
  • Economic evaluations of drone/UAS integration into the Alaskan airspace
