I am pleased to share that I have received three letters of interest from eligible candidates for the interim chancellor position. Active discussions with these candidates are ongoing and I will continue to consult with UAA leadership and governance groups to make a selection by the end of next week. 
 

The recruitment for the permanent chancellor will open within a week of the appointment of the interim chancellor. Memry Dahl, CHRO, is the primary support for the search process, while Sheri Buretta and Jackie Cason will serve as co-chairs 

Efforts are ongoing to finalize the permanent chancellor search committee, which will include internal and external stakeholders to ensure a thorough and cooperative process. The search committee participants will be announced in advance of opening the search.
