Seawolves qualify 63 GNAC FAR Scholar-Athletes

Portland, Oregon (July 8) – The University of Alaska Anchorage had 61 student-athletes receive the Great Northwest Athletic Conference's Faculty Athletic Representative's Scholar-Athlete Award on Tuesday.

UAA's 37 women and 26 men aided a conference-record 426 honorees in 2024-25, spread among the league's 10 institutions.

Senior skier Alyssa Hill earned the award for the third consecutive year and was among  29 Seawolves to maintain a perfect 4.00 grade-point average through spring semester.

The award honors student-athletes with a cumulative GPA of 3.85 or higher. All student-athletes at a GNAC full-member school are eligible, regardless of whether the sport is sponsored by the GNAC.
