Alaska Center for the Book seeking volunteers

The Alaska Center for the Book has opportunities for a few volunteers to help with this year’s UAA/Anchorage Daily News Creative Writing Contest.
The center needs category managers to handle fiction, nonfiction or poetry categories by age group. Volunteers are crucial to continuing this long-running statewide writing contest, which attracts 500 entries each year.
The beauty of the work is that it is all electronic, so the e-view can be done anywhere with access to a computer and the internet. Entries are solicited from November to mid-February. The most intense review work occurs from late January to late February.
