UAA League Of Legends team takes the 1 seed for playoffs

UAA League of Legends team is headed to playoffs! Continuing their undefeated season, the team had a victory over the NMT Miners on Thursday, Oct. 30, securing their 1 seed position in the Div 7 playoffs later in November. The UAA community is invited to cheer on the League of Legends team as they play the rest of the season, with playoffs on Thursdays at twitch.tv/uaaesports!

Valuing its role as a community partner, UAA coordinated with the Municipality of Anchorage and local agencies to provide emergency shelter at the Alaska Airlines Center for Western Alaska evacuees displaced by Typhoon Halong.

First Gen Day is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of first generation college students, faculty, and staff. UAA avoids WOU upset bid, wins 3-2 in Monmouth

Monmouth, Oregon (Oct. 25) – Senior Tia Allen had 17 kills and freshman Emma Beck delivered six of her 11 kills on the fourth and fifth sets Saturday to propel the UAA volleyball team to an 18-25, 27-25, 23-25, 25-22, 15-11 victory over Western Oregon at the New P.E. Building.

UAA's Peckham runs to GNAC title

Billings, Montana – University of Alaska Anchorage senior John Peckham added GNAC Champion to his name Saturday after winning the men’s race at the GNAC Championships Saturday.
