COH IPE Simulations: Perspectives on Disability

by Green & Gold News  |

The College of Health (COH) invites students and employees to join them for Interprofessional Education Public (IPE) simulations: 'Perspectives on Disability'.

Join us for an immersive scenario where students from across majors coordinate healthcare for a person with disabilities. This simulation focuses on building a patient-centered model of care and using the teach-back method of patient education.

These scenarios have been co-developed with an interprofessional team of faculty members, subject matter experts, and simulated participants with lived experience who have generously contributed their time and ideas. Both in-person and virtual sessions are available to accommodate attendees from across the State of Alaska.
