Seawolves run to top-10 times

Seattle – The University of Alaska Anchorage track and field teams ran to several top-10 performances at the UW Invite/Mile City.

Charlie Hulbert ran a pair of top-10 marks in school history running 4:11.50 for the mile, sixth all-time, and 8:18.93 in the 3,000, eighth all-time.

Ryann Smith ran a pair of top-10 marks in school history running 5:00.17 in the mile, sixth-best all-time, and 2:15.15 in the 800, 10th all-time.

Anthony Ruiz ran a personal-best of 1:54.68 in the 800, sixth-best all-time at UAA. He ran 4:20.71 in the mile.

Jessica Chisar was the top finisher for the Seawolves in the 800 running 2:10.88, and ran 5:08.87 in the mile.

Ben Browning and Ries Tveit ran 14:43.67 and 15:02.17 respectively in the 5,000.

McKendra McCarty ran 18:17.48 in the 5,000, and Stephen Zukowski ran 4:19.18 in the mile.

Edgar Vera ran 8:43.63 and Anthony Porter ran 8:45.99 in the 3,000.

Alaska Anchorage will compete at the Wolf Pack Classic hosted by the University of Nevada Feb. 6-7.
