Nominations for faculty excellence awards due Feb. 27

The Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence (CAFE) will be hosting the CAFE Oh Wow (COW) awards on Friday, April 3 from 12 - 1 p.m. in LIB307 and Zoom. CAFE asks UAA employees to consider nominating a faculty member they think deserves recognition for a COW Award (or nominate onseself).
There are 14 awards across three categories: Excellence in Teaching, Excellence in Research/Creative Activity, and Excellence in Promoting the Success of Faculty. This includes two new teaching awards - accessibility and innovative student assessment!
All nominations must be received no later than Feb. 27. Questions may be directed to uaa_cafe@alaska.edu.
