UAA/Dell AI Showcase, April 21

UAA IT Services (ITS), the UAA College of Engineering (CoEng), the UAA College of Business and Public Policy (CBPP), UAA Office for Research, Dell and NVIDIA are pleased to invite employees and students to the UAA/Dell AI Showcase on Tuesday, April 21.

Whether you are an AI novice or a seasoned expert, this showcase offers a unique opportunity to explore the current landscape of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its trajectory. Discover how Dell is re-engineering computers for the AI era and learn how they have partnered with higher education institutions to leverage AI Services and Solutions to transform the student and employee experience. Our very own, Dr. Kenrick Mock, CoEng Dean and Co-Director of the ADSAIL (Alaska's Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab) program, and Dr. Helena Wisniewski, CBPP Management, Marketing, Logistics and Business Analytics Chair, Marion Porter Chair, and Co-Director of the ADSAIL program, will also be sharing the vision for AI-driven Engineering and Business Education at UAA. Aaron Dotson, Vice Chancellor for Research at UAA, will be discussing their use of AI in the research field. Lastly, Joe Fugere, IT Service Center Director, will be demonstrating their new Conversation AI Support Tool.
