UAA was selected to receive the Anchorage School District's 2026 Superintendent Spirit of Tomorrow Award in part for our work with the Academies of Anchorage. The Superintendent Award is in recognition of the outstanding contribution by a partner. The awardee is selected by the Superintendent for dedication, commitment and outstanding contributions to a District program or a specific school. Thank you, faculty, staff and students, for hosting ASD's Freshman Academy College Experience visits on campus and earning UAA this award!
