Staff Council meeting update – May 2026

The UAA Staff Council will be canceling their regular meeting for the month of May. Instead, Staff Council members will be attending and supporting the campus-wide event, Wrapping Up the Strategic Plan UAA 2027, and encourage all staff to participate if they are able.

With the completion of our accreditation cycle and 2027 around the corner, this is an important opportunity for our campus community to reflect on progress and help shape what comes next. The Chancellor’s Cabinet is inviting feedback on key questions, including: What progress has been made toward UAA 2027 aspirations? What are your specific aspirations moving forward? How does this work inform the next strategic plan? Your input will directly contribute to the UAA 2027 wrap-up report, which will be presented this fall. We encourage you to attend in person or register for the virtual option if your schedule allows. We hope to see strong staff participation in this important conversation.
