Funding opportunity: Gene Sharp Lectureship on Nonviolent Action

The University of Alaska Foundation announced a one-time funding opportunity through the Gene Sharp Lectureship on Nonviolent Action to support UA programs that advance the study, practice and teaching of nonviolent action. Eligible activities include lectures, workshops, research, training and other educational programs.
Open to UA faculty, staff, departments, programs and UA affiliates, the opportunity prioritizes projects featuring recognized nonviolent-action leaders and meaningful student engagement. Funds may support approved activities during the spring semester of the current academic year or the following academic year.
Proposals are due Oct. 15, with decisions expected in late November.
