UAA Community,

Everyone deserves to feel celebrated on their birthday!

Seawolf Dining has partnered with the AWAIC Shelter to make sure women and children staying at the shelter have something special to celebrate with on their birthdays - and we need your help. We’re looking for volunteers to help provide a monthly birthday cake for residents.

On the last Wednesday of each month, a volunteer will drop off enough cake for approximately 75 servings so residents celebrating birthdays that month can enjoy something special.

You can purchase from any bakery you’d like. For example, two half-sheet cakes from Costco serve the group and cost approximately $56 total, with an option to add two containers of ice cream for an additional $14, approximately $70 total.
