Training series: 'Coalition-Building for Leaders'

UAA Faculty Success will offer the training series "'The Sky Is Falling' to Shared Solutions: Coalition-Building for Leaders".

Faculty, build your leadership skills through joining the National Coalition Building Institute (NCBI) Coalition-Building for Leaders training! This training will give you the tools to create spaces where everyone feels heard, respected, and empowered.

This training will be Jan. 27, Feb. 3 and 10, 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. on Zoom. Participants must attend all three one-hour sessions. To support open, honest conversation, sessions will not be recorded. If you have questions, email Dr. Kimberly Pace, the facilitator of the training, at kjpace@alaska.edu. 

This training will help you:

  • Integrate core coalition-building practices into your leadership and teaching
  • Cultivate meaningful professional relationships
  • Navigate conflict with confidence
  • Create more welcoming and collaborative learning environments
