Chromebook Giveaway for Students

Need a basic computer for your classes? If so, consider getting a Chromebooks through the Chromebook Giveaway! Chromebooks are available to UAA students who are currently registered for classes and perfect for attending a class via Zoom, accessing Blackboard or your email, and web browsing.
When considering if a Chromebook is right for you, keep in mind that Chromebooks are:
• Limited in function and work best for basic uses such as browsing the web,
• Being reassigned from prior use, in used but good condition, and gifted to
eligible students, and
• Limited to one Chromebook per student and available on a first-come basis.
*Please note: If you receive a Chromebook, UAA Accounts Payable, UAA Financial Aid,
and UA HR (if applicable) will be notified, and you may be subject to tax withholding
and/or have an impact to financial aid. For questions about potential impacts please
contact the UAA Financial Aid Office.
