After You Have Applied
After you receive your email confirmation of successful submission of your application please do the following:
Identify your advisor. You will need to contact your advisor by email and explain you will need assistance via email to set up your education plan.
Take your placement tests. For all undergraduate programs international students are required to take the Accuplacer and the ALEKS placement tests. Both of these must be complete prior to your arrival as they are required prior to registration. Your advisor will need the results of these tests to assist you in choosing your classes.
Go to https://me.uaa.alaska.edu/ and create your university account. Use Option 3. You may leave the social security field blank. If you have difficulties with this process please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Once you have created your account you may log into UAOnline. This portal allows you to monitor your application, register for classes, check your account and much more.
Apply for housing if you wish to live on campus.
Register for New Student Orientation. Choose the Out of Area Orientation held just prior to the beginning of your start semester.
