Education Abroad Application for Spring 2024 open!

UAA Education Abroad is an opportunity for UAA students to study abroad or participate in an internship or service learning experience in another country while still receiving academic credit towards their UAA degree! Students can choose programs from all over the world, use their financial aid to pay for program fees, and go abroad for the summer, a semester or an academic year.

During the last academic year, the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs led a UAA-wide effort to develop a draft Strategic Enrollment Management Plan (SEM Plan). A draft version of the SEM plan is available for view by UAA employees on the UAA Employee Intranet.

Alaska Department of Transportation Drone Lab Internship

Work up to 10 hours a week (Monday-Friday). Prefer if you have larger blocks of time. Pay is $3,000 for a semester, prorated for point in the semester.

RIIN introduces healthcare students to the realities of providing care in rural Alaska. Students spend the beginning of the program in Anchorage, learning about Alaskan culture and meeting with healthcare professionals to hear about their experiences.
