Rich with historical characters, not to mention comic, clever, frightening and well-written… "William Shakespeare's Land of the Dead" is definitely a script actors can sink their teeth into. If Shakespeare, zombies, sword fights and some funny possibilities as to how some of the Bard's greatest plays came to be appeal to you, join us for cold readings in the Harper Studio Theatre (Fine Arts Building, Room 129) on Friday, Feb. 6 or Sunday, Feb. 8. UAA Concert Board and UAA Student Activities are proud to present Charles Bradley and His Extraordinaires, who will play the Wendy Williamson on Feb. 20. Charles Bradley's voice has evolved from a lifetime of paying dues, having nomadically labored for decades at various ill-fitting day jobs from Maine to Alaska–singing and performing in his spare time, most famously as a James Brown impersonator at Brooklyn clubs–before finally being discovered by Daptone's Gabe Roth.
