Fall 2017: Do you know your numbers?

Sign up today for Know Your NumbersKnow Your Numbers is a service to all UAA employees provided by the Department of Health, Physical Education and Recreation (HPER). The KYN program is a series of exercise tests that will assess your current fitness level to give you the information you need to create health and fitness goals. To reach those goals, your fitness professional will design an exercise program just for you based on your exercise test results, teach you how to do the exercises correctly and keep you inspired.

Know Your Numbers requires two appointments on the same day and time on back-to-back weeks:

  • Day 1 - Exercise testing performed in the Human Performance Lab, located in Eugene Short Hall (ESH). Testing includes body composition analysis using the BOD POD and a partial Functional Movement Screen (FMS), which ranks and grades movement patterns compared to normal function.
  • Day 2 - Results and prescription will be given to you over at Wells Fargo Sports Complex, where you will meet your fitness professional downstairs at the cage.

Sign up now! Book your appointment online. Oct. 31 is the first day of testing. Testing is $10 (cash or check only at time of first appointment).

If you have questions or have trouble scheduling your appointment online, contact UAA Employee Wellness at uaa.wellness@alaska.edu or (907) 786-4006.
